QUIT SMOKING RESOURCES

You don’t have to go it alone. Why not take advantage of the many excellent resources that are available to help you kick the habit. Offerings, many of them free, are available to fit everyone’s needs.

Body Worlds

The “I Quit” Program begins April 15 and will continue through October 4 as part of the Body Worlds exhibition at the San Diego Natural History Museum. One of the many dramatic displays in Body Worlds features blackened smokers' lungs compared to healthy lungs. This striking comparison has moved visitors to quit smoking.

The awareness initiative will feature an inspirational multimedia smoking cessation program, pledge cards for visitors intending to give up smoking, a repository where visitors can leave their last packs of cigarettes, and take home information about the hazards of smoking.
